I’d like to wish you all a very happy new year π
Of course, a new year means the start of a new list – so, my garden bird list is wiped clean and the hope of beating the 36 species from 2010 starts again π
The record for 2011 was pretty poor due to a number of factors…… the mild winter certainly didn’t help….. my focus was more on my business than bird watching – check out OutofhoursAdmin if you need virtual admin help (shameless plug – sorry ;))….. the number of diseased birds meant I had to abandon feeding them for the majority of the year….. and basically pure laziness on my part meant I didn’t really go out anywhere like I promised myself I would!
So, will this year be any different?Β I’d like to say yes, but who knows? I’m hoping to expand my business this year which may mean even less time to look out of the window, but I’m trying to plan at least 30 minutes into my diary every day with my camera poised at the kitchen window – I may even clean the windows first π
Anyway, I hope you all had a great Christmas and that 2012 is the start of another successful, healthy year for you all, and thanks for continuing to visit my blog π
36 species is also my best count Shaz π
Best of luck this year, dont work too hard, you only live once, so spend it doing things you like doing ( of course, you might enjoy work!)
Happy new year shaz π π π
Thanks Warren π
Hi Sharon, I just popped over to say I hope all is well with you. I miss your posts and hope you are only absent due to work! Hope to see you blogging again before too long π
